You cannot overestimate the importance of learning from the people around us. We can benefit from their experience as well as share our own, often finding solutions to common problems.
Community Hubs will help build capacity in the workplace around creating a mentally healthy workplace, including strategies, peer sharing, successes and challenges. They will provide a valuable link and a central location for businesses and/or employees to access information around Mental Health in the Workplace in a familiar, friendly, and local venue.
There will be at least 6 metropolitan and 6 regional hubs with meetings organised by the program facilitators every 2-3 months.
The hubs are for employers, managers and supervisors who want to improve the mental health and wellbeing within their workplace. Although the program is aimed at the automotive industry, those from other industries are welcome to attend meetings and share their experiences and learn from others. Click on the hub meeting you wish to attend, provide us a contact person we can get back to, and let us know how many people are coming for catering purposes.
Community hubs will provide a space where:
- people share experiences and learnings
- subject matter experts can give presentations
- links can be provided to other local initiatives supporting mental health and wellbeing.
